Discontinuation of Newsletters

Dear subscribers,

We have discontinued sending newsletters – the daily alerts via email. The cost to maintain this is just too high.

We have decided to go on mobile app. Similar daily alert layout but with more features to come. You can download the app at Google Play Store.

Newsletter is temporarily disabled

Dear Subscribers,

**Latest update on 13/4/2017 – We have purchased a dedicated ip address and the site will be up within 24 hours.** If you see this message, it’s up and running fine for you. Thank you for your patience!**

This morning when we sent out the newsletters, many of the emails were bounced back with the below error. As per advised by our service provider, we need to get a dedicated ip for the solution. We are working on this and hoping to bring back the free service as soon as possible. Sorry for the inconveniences.

FAQ

1. Volume spike – Alert when counters are traded heavily on the day when the volume is more than the total 14 trading days volume.

2. 8 days drop – Alert when counters registered lower closing price than yesterday closing price for 8 in 10 trading days. Closing price if same as opening price will not be counted.

3. Bullish Engulfing – As implied in its name, this trend suggests the bulls have taken control of a security’s price movement from the bears. When a bullish engulfing candle forms at the end of a downtrend, the reversal is much more powerful as it represents a capitulation bottom.

4. Breakout – Alert when counters are flagged with our breakout algorithm.

5. MACD Crossover – Alert when counters had MACD crossover pattern. It is a bullish signal used by technical traders. MACD Crossover works best when you combine it with other technical indicators rather than rely on it as a sole indicator.

6. Hammer – A bullish reversal candlestick pattern, made up of just one candle. Check trading volume and whether it is on a downtrend.

7. Rating is calculated based on the number of positive earnings over the last 5 years. Value (0-10), with 0 being the lowest and 10 being the highest value. 10 means all past 5 years earnings are positive.

8. Sector – A more defined sector.
